Salary
In Act of 2005
At state salary of chief information commisioner is equal to the election commisioner of state and salary of central informatiom commisioner is equal to chief election commissioner at centre and after amendment bill 2019 it is decided by centre

Term
In 2005
Central information commisioner and information commisioner of state term for the office is 5 year after amndment bill 2019 it will be decided by centre . salary to former central govt employee act 2005 pension would get reduced from salary of new post,say information commisioner

After amendment earlier provision is removed

Why amedment irrational

Compromise independence of central information commisioner and state information commisioner

Against fedralism centre deciding state information commisioner salary and term

Dilute the frame work of transparency

RTI preserve basic rights to freedom of information amending it will dilute article 19 this right is affrimed by SC repeatedly in article 19

Govt view on rti

CIC and SIC are not statutary bodies can't be compare with or to election commission under other statutory bodies salaries,term decided by centre
